PA6/6 CNC is a nylon 6/6, or a variant of nylon 6 and nylon 6T with a crystallinity optimization process, which provides a high degree of transparency. The transparency allows the industrial quality control groups to evaluate printed parts without destructive evaluation. NAME is a 50% transparent white color. PA6/6 CNC will dye with acid based dyes.
Even though the polymer is less pliable, it maintains the optimal slippery surface feature of other nylon based materials. PA6/6 CNC is a preferred polymer for parts under high levels of stress, even at elevated temperatures. This material is also slightly more resistant (about 20%) to chlorides than other materials.
